| Abstract: | V diplomové práci se autorka zabývá problémem novodobého otroctví. Cílem diplomové práce je definice příčin, projevů a dopadů novodobého otroctví se zaměřením na Thajsko. Práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole jsou popsána teoretická východiska a charakteristiky otroctví. Druhá část je zaměřena na novodobé otroctví v Thajsku, které je v zemi patrné především v rybářském a sexuálním průmyslu. Ve třetí části se autorka pokusila nastínit přístupy k možným řešení novodobého otroctví ze strany jednotlivých zainteresovaných subjektů. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the problem of modern slavery. The main aim is to define the causes, manifestations and impacts of modern slavery with a focus on Thailand. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the theoretical basis and characteristics of slavery. The second part is focused on modern slavery in Thailand, which is reflected mainly in the fishery and sex industry. In the third part, the author tries to outline approaches to possible solutions of modern slavery by individual stakeholders. |
