| Abstract: | Předmětem bakalářské práce jsou dopady surfingu na trvale udržitelný rozvoj destinace. Tato práce analyzuje a porovnává chování 2 skupin – surfařů, kteří jezdí do destinace za účelem surfování, a turistů, kteří jezdí do destinace za jiným účelem, než je surfování. Z tohoto průzkumu vyhodnocuje, zda je surfový turismus udržitelnější než plážový cestovní ruch. První část se zabývá výchozími teoretickými poznatky, které se týkají cestovního ruchu, jeho dělením a do jaké oblasti spadá surfing. Dále vysvětluje trvale udržitelný rozvoj, jeho historický vývoj, dělení, jeho indikátory apod. V neposlední řadě popisuje surfový turismus, jeho vývoj do současné podoby a jeho dopady na destinace. V druhé praktické části jsou prezentovány výsledky provedených dotazníkových šetření a závěrečné shrnutí. |

| Abstract: | The topic of this bachelor thesis is ‘The impact of surfing on sustainable development of a destination’. This work aims to analyse and compare consumer behaviour of 2 groups - surfers who travel to a destination to go surfing, and tourists who travel to a destination for a purpose other than surfing. This survey evaluates whether surf tourism is more sustainable than beach tourism. The first part deals with the basic theoretical knowledge concerning tourism, its division and where belongs surfing. Furthermore, it explains sustainable development, its historical development, division, its indicators, etc. Finally, it defines surf tourism, its development into its current form and its impacts on destinations. The second part presents the results of the questionnaire surveys and the final summary. |
