Business, trade and investment relations between the USA and China

Abstract With the continuous development of economic globalization, the United States and China are the world's largest developed and developing countries, and the economies of the two countries are dominant in today's world economy. Recalling China-US trade relationship, especially since the beginning of the China-US trade war in 2018, the Chinese government and the US government continue to impose revenge tariffs of goods. It not only resulted in a decline in the trade development trend of both parties, but also adversely affected the world economy. This also brings hidden danger to future economic development. This paper attempts to analyze the current China-US policy changes by reviewing the economic and historical turning points after China and the United States establishment the diplomatic relations, and also through the analysis of the current economic and trade situation between the two countries based on historical data, to understand the tendency of economic growth, and speculates on future economic development.
