| Abstract: | Vzhledem k očekávánému nástupu čtvrté průmyslové revoluce a vlivem nových globálních socioekonomických výzev si řada zemí uvědomuje, že oblast vědy, výzkumu a inovací hraje stěžejní roli pro jejich další rozvoj. To potvrzuje růst významu vědecké a inovační diplomacie ve světě a zvýšený zájem většiny rozvinutých zemí o tyto nové formy diplomacie. Vědecká a inovační diplomacie je v českém prostředí stále relativně novým a neprobádaným fenoménem, proto se stala tématem této diplomové práce. Cílem práce je pomocí analýzy zahraniční praxe vědeckovýzkumného a inovačního prostředí České republiky a vybraných evropských států navrhnout možnosti rozvoje nově se formujícího systému české vědecké diplomacie. Vzhledem k velikostní a ekonomické blízkosti s Českou republikou je zkoumána praxe Švýcarska a Dánska. Zároveň je analyzováno vědeckovýzkumné a inovační prostřední státu Izrael, který patří ke světové špičce ve vědě a výzkumu. Izraelská praxe proto může být cenným zdrojem inspirace také pro Českou republiku. |

| Abstract: | Given the expected outset of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the impact of new global socio-economic challenges, many countries have become aware that science, research and innovation play a central role in their further development. This confirms the growing importance of science and innovation diplomacy in the world and the increased interest of most developed countries in these new forms of diplomacy. Science and innovation diplomacy is still a relatively new and unexplored phenomenon in the Czech Republic, which is why it has become the topic of this thesis. The aim of the thesis is to propose development possibilities of this newly forming system of Czech science diplomacy by means of analysis of the scientific and research practices of the Czech Republic and selected European countries. Due to the size and economic proximity to the Czech Republic, the practices of Switzerland and Denmark are examined. At the same time, the research and innovation environment of the state of Israel is also analyzed. It is one of the world leaders in research and development, and therefore Israeli practices can also be a valuable source of inspiration for the Czech Republic. |
