| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá cestovním ruchem seniorů jakožto jednou z forem cestovního ruchu pro všechny a programem na jeho podporu – programem European Senior Tourism. Jejím cílem je analýza cestovního ruchu seniorů v České republice s přihlédnutím k programu European Senior Tourism, kdy autorka analyzovala dopady programu jednak v průběhu jeho fungování, ale také dopady přetrvávající až do současnosti. V první části práce autorka vymezuje základní teoretická východiska týkající se jak cestovního ruchu obecně, tak turismu zaměřeného na seniory, jeho specifika a zmíněny jsou také základní statistiky týkající se cestování evropských seniorů. Praktická část nejdříve podrobně analyzuje jednotlivé sezóny programu European Senior Tourism i jeho fungování v České republice. Druhá polovina praktické části se pak věnuje cestovnímu ruchu seniorů v České republice, kdy je nejdříve zhodnocen současný i očekávaný demografický vývoj obyvatelstva. Dále jsou zkoumány vybrané statistiky týkající se účasti rezidentů ČR na cestovním ruchu, přičemž je opět kladen důraz na segment seniorské klientely. Po této analýze poptávky následuje i analýza strany tuzemské nabídky, kdy se autorka podrobně věnuje dvěma cestovním kancelářím specializujícím se na cestovní ruch seniorů. Zároveň zkoumá i nabídku klasických cestovních kanceláří, kdy zjišťuje, zda svou nabídku segmentu seniorů alespoň částečně přízpůsobují. |

| Abstract: | The Master’s Thesis deals with senior tourism as one of the forms of tourism for all and the program for its support - European Senior Tourism. Its aim is to analyze the senior tourism in the Czech Republic with regard to the European Senior Tourism program, where the author analyzed the impacts of the program both during its operation and also the impacts persisting to the present.In the first part of the Thesis, the author defines the basic theoretical background focusing both on tourism in general and tourism focused on seniors, its specifics and also the basic statistics concerning traveling of European seniors are mentioned. The practical part analyzes each season of the European Senior Tourism program in detail and also its functioning in the Czech Republic. The second half of the practical part is devoted to the senior tourism in the Czech Republic, when first the current and expected demographic development of the population is evaluated. Furthermore, relevant statistics on the participation of Czech residents in tourism are examined, with the emphasis on the senior clientele. This analysis of demand is followed by an analysis of the domestic supply side, where the author focused in detail on two travel agencies specializing in senior tourism. At the same time, the author also examined the offer of ordinary travel agencies and she tried to find out whether they were at least partially adapting their offer to senior tourists. |
