| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá investičními možnostmi běžně dostupnými obyvatelům České republiky. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. První část se věnuje fungování finančního trhu, jednotlivým investičním nástrojům a jejich charakteristice. Ve druhé části je provedena simulace a komparace dvou odlišných investičních variant. Hlavním cílem práce je zodpovězení výzkumné otázky, zda-li akciové portfolio vybrané na principu náhodnosti přinese investorovi v pětiletém časovém horizontu větší výnos než ukládání obdobných finančních prostředků na nejvýnosnější spořicí účet dostupný v daném období na českém trhu. |

| Abstract: | The master's thesis deals with the investment options available to the inhabitants of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part deals with the functioning of the financial market, investment instruments and their characteristics. In the second part there is a simulation and comparison of two different investment variants. The main goal of the thesis is to answer the research question whether the stock portfolio chosen on the principle of randomness will bring to the investor a higher yield in the five-year time period than the saving of similar amount of money on the most profitable savings account available in the given period on the Czech market. |
