| Abstract: | Výkonnostní testování nabízí možnost odhalit rychlostní problémy a definovat požadavkysoftware během jeho vývoje nebo před jeho nasazením do produkčního prostředí. Diplomovápráce čtenáře seznámí s pojmem výkonnostní testování, zaměří se na způsob, jak jej zahrnoutdo životního cyklu vývoje aplikace. Popíše, jak s pomocí tohoto testování odhalit hranice akritické oblasti v software. Práce analyzuje typy výkonnostního testování a jejich možnévyužití při vývoji. Cílem je předat přehled o možnostech využití výkonnostního testování proaplikaci a získat tak vyšší kvalitu výsledného produktu. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje naprogram EasyMiner vyvíjený na Katedře informačního a znalostního inženýrství VŠE. Proten, je pomocí programu Docker vytvořeno prostředí, umožňující výkonnostní testování, adále výkonnostní testy, které jsou následně v rámci této práce aplikovány a vyhodnoceny. |

| Abstract: | Performance testing offers an option to expose speed issues and software requirements bothduring its development and before it is deployed to production. Diploma thesis further cha-racterises performance testing, and aims on how to apply it to the software developmentlife cycle, in order to reveal boundaries and critical areas of the tested software. The thesisalso analyses performance testing types and their usage during software development. Theprimary target is to propose an overview of performance testing abilities that increase thequality of the final product. The tool for acquiring the target was a performance testing en-vironment including the performance testing of EasyMiner, an application developed at thedepartment of Information and Knowledge Engineering, at University of Economics. |
