| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá teorií her a její aplikací na výsledky komunálních voleb v okresních městech v roce 2018. Nejprve zkoumá dva nejčastěji uváděné indexy síly, tedy Shapleyův-Shubikův index síly a Banzhafův index síly. Praktickou část lze rozdělit do dvou částí. První část zkoumá samotné indexy síly a jejich specifika na daných datech. Druhá část se snaží indexy analyzovat a porovnat jejich kvalitu. K této analýze využívá logistickou regresi, kdy vysvětlující proměnnou jsou právě tyto indexy a vysvětlovanou proměnnou pozorované jevy – účast ve vítězné koalici či zisk úřadu starosty v těchto městech. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the theory of games and its application to the results of the Municipal Elections in District Towns in 2018. At first it examines two most frequently mentioned power indices, i.e. Shapley-Shubik power index and Banzhaf power index. The practical part of the thesis can be divided into two parts. The first part examines the strength indices themselves and their specifics on given data. The second part tries to analyze the indexes and to compare their quality. The logistic regression is used for the analysis, where indices are the explanatory variable and the observed phenomena is the explanatory variable, i.e. the participation in the winning coalition or the winning of the mayor's office in these cities. |
