| Abstract: | Bitcoin se stal jedním znejpopulárnějších termínů a jeho podkladová technologie blockchain slibuje vylepšení našich životů v mnoha směrech. Tato práce se zaměřuje na využití blockchainu v platebním styku, ke kterému byl původně vytvořen. V úvodní části práce je popsán současný stav platebních systémů, jakým způsobem fungují a ukazuje jejich možnosti. Zde navazuje první cíl analyzovat současné platební metody v platebním styku s kryptoměnamy na základě nákladů, rychlosti a spolehlivosti. Následně práce s pomocí analýzy a syntézy definuje legislativní oblasti. Posledním cílem je za využití kvantitativního a kvalitativního výzkumu zjistit míru adopce blockchainu v českém bankovnictví a definovat faktory ovlivňující jeho rozšíření. |

| Abstract: | Bitcoin has become one of the most popular terms and its underlying technology blockchain promises to improve our lives in many ways. This work thesis focuses on the use of blockchain in the payment system to which it was originally created. The introduction part of this thesis describes the current state of payment systems, how they work and their possibilities. Here follows the first objective of analyzing current payment methods in payment systems with cryptocurrencies and on the basis of cost, speed and reliability. Subsequently, work with analysis and synthesis defines legislative areas. The last goal is to use quantitative and qualitative research to determine the extent of blockchain adoption in Czech banking and to define factors that are affecting its expansion. |
