| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza optimalizace výkonnosti informačních systémů se zaměřením na informační systémy SAP. V první části práce jsou popsány výstupy analýzy teoretických konceptů řízení výkonnosti IT (IT performance managementu). Tato analýza zahrnuje metodické rámce ITIL a COBIT. Analýza metodických rámců ITIL a COBIT se zaměřuje zejména na procesy obsažené v těchto metodikách vzhledem k jejich aplikovatelnosti pro řízení výkonnosti IT. V další části diplomové práce je popsána realizace analýzy procesů IT performance managementu se zaměřením na informační systémy SAP ve zkoumané organizaci a hodnocení způsobilosti identifikovaného AS-IS stavu procesu IT Performance Management. Na základě provedené analýzy byl navržen soubor procesů IT performance managementu se zaměřením informační systémy SAP a role ve vztahu k těmto procesům. Dále se diplomová práce zabývá zmapováním metod optimalizace informačních systémů SAP. Diplomová práce přináší souhrnný přehled o metodách analýzy slabých míst systému SAP zaměřenou na analýzu kapacity operačního systému aplikačního serveru, analýzu technické konfigurace aplikačního serveru a analýzu SQL databázových příkazu. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the performance optimization of information systems with a focus on SAP information systems. The first part of the thesis describes the outputs of analysis of theoretical concepts of IT performance management. This analysis includes the ITIL and COBIT methodological frameworks. The analysis of ITIL and COBIT methodological frameworks focuses mainly on the processes due to their applicability to IT performance management. The next part of the thesis describes outcome of the analysis of IT performance management processes with a focus on SAP information systems in the examined organization and the assessment of the capability of the identified IT Performance Management process. Based on this analysis, a set of IT performance management processes was designed and proposed with a focus on SAP information systems and as well as roles in relation to the proposed IT performance management processes. This thesis further deals with mapping of methods of SAP information systems optimization. This thesis provides a summary of the methods of analysis bottlenecks of the SAP systems. This method focuses on the capacity analysis of the operating system of the application server, analysis of the application server technical configuration and SQL database command analysis. |
