Konečným přínosem práce je možnost zavedení tohoto systému pro lepší řízení vývoje a distribuce her. |

Abstract: | This Bachelor thesis deals with Business Intelligence in the area of videogame design. This area has been further narrowed down to videogames with a budget over 1 mil. dollars. The thesis offers a model focused on decision making support in game development. Standard BI tools have been used in the model, albeit modified for project development. The model itself is comprised of a data warehouse and analytical tasks derived from it. There are five said tasks and they are a meeting point of development, business and customer feedback. Tasks are designed for practical usage in a game development studio and its executive partners, such as a publisher. The first part is an introduction to game design and its essence. Then it follows with real service requirements and subsequently with the model itself. The real benefit of the thesis is to offer the opportunity to implement this system for better development management and distribution. |
