| Abstract: | Při práci se skutečnými daty často narážíme na data sety, které obsahují variabilitu nejen na úrovni jednotlivce, ale i na dalších úrovních. Mnohdy bývá tato víceúrovňová variabilita opomíjena a dochází se ke zkresleným závěrům o daném tématu. Cílem této práce je porovnat, jak přesné výsledky nám podává lineární regresní model o víceúrovňových datech a zda-li by se měl použít random effect model, který je schopný s touto variabilitou pracovat. Dále nám tato práce může napovědět, jak bychom měli postupovat při výběrových šetřeních u víceúrovňových dat. |

| Abstract: | When working with real data we often encounter data sets with variability not only at individual level, but also at higher levels. This variability tends to be ignored and biased conclusions are made about the topic. The purpose of this thesis is to compare how accurate results are obtained from linear regression model when applied to multi-level data and how big the negative effect is on coefficients estimates of linear regression model and statistical inference and why is more appropriate to use random-effects model, which assesses this variability. Furthermore this thesis can help us on how we should proceed when conducting surveys when multi-level data are involved. |
