| Abstract: | Tato práce nastínila doposud neprozkoumaný vztah mezi kognitivními schopnostmi a důvěrou u seniorů. Senioři se dělí na dvě skupiny, tj. na aktivní, kteří se stále vzdělávají na Univerzitách třetího věku a na pasivní seniory, kteří se nadále již nevzdělávají. Výsledky naznačují nulový vztah mezi kognitivními schopnostmi a důvěrou. Rozdíl mezi aktivními a pasivními studenty v testu kognitivních schopností byl signifikantní, aktivní senioři měli v průměru 2x lepší výsledek než pasivní. |

| Abstract: | This thesis outlines the relationship between the seniors´ cognitive abilities and their trust, which has not been examined so far. The elderly can be divided into the active ones, attending the University of the Third Age and the passive ones, without any learning efforts. The outcomes show no connection at all. The difference between the active and the passive students in the test of cognitive abilities was significant, where the active seniors´ results were twice better than the passive ones. |
