| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce obsahuje analýzu a následnou komparaci systémů financování České a Portugalské republiky v letech 2008 až 2018. Zdravotní systémy v těchto státech fungují na jiném principu financování – Česká republika využívá Bismarckův model založený na povinném zdravotním pojištění a Portugalská republika využívá model Beveridgeův, který je financován z daňových výnosů. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na vysvětlení pojmů z oblasti zdravotnictví a vytváří ucelený přehled typologie zdravotních systémů. V praktické části je nejdříve analyzován český zdravotní systém a poté podle stejných indikátorů portugalský zdravotní systém. Důraz je kladen na srovnání výdajů na zdravotní péči v poměru k HDP, které jsou po celé sledované období v Portugalsku vyšší než v České republice. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and comparison of the financial systems of the Czech Republic and the Portuguese Republic within the time range from 2008 to 2018. The healthcare systems in those countries function based on a different type of financing: The Czech Republic uses the Bismarck model, which is based on compulsory health insurance, whereas the Portuguese Republic uses the Beveridge Model, which means financing from tax revenues. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the explanation of many concepts from the area of health care and creates a thorough summary of the typology of healthcare systems. The practical parts deal firstly with the analysis of the Czech healthcare system and then with the Portuguese healthcare system, according to the same measures. A special emphasis is placed on the comparison of expenditure intensity in proportion to GDP, which is higher in the Portuguese Republic than in the Czech Republic during the whole reported period. |
