| Abstract: | Tato práce srovnává válečné ekonomiky dvou klíčových velmocí během druhé světové války, konkrétně v letech 1941–1943, a jejich vliv na vývoj celého konfliktu. Komparováním hospodářství Spojených států amerických a Německa v letech, kdy celá válka eskalovala, hledá odpověď na otázku, který stát zvládl lépe využívat své zdroje a jestli byla právě síla ekonomiky tím nejvýznamnějším hybatelem válečných dějin. V práci je analyzováno, zda se vývoj domácího hospodářství podepsal na průběhu války a na kolik spolu tyto veličiny korelují. Pro toto srovnání byly vybrány dvě mocnosti, které stály v konfliktu na opačných stranách, a které volily jiný přístup k válečné ekonomice. Komparovány jsou tedy hlavní rozdíly v hospodářství těchto dvou velmocí, síla a růst jejich ekonomiky v těchto letech a jak velký vliv na konflikt ekonomická síla měla. |

| Abstract: | This work compares the war economies of the two key powers during World War II, specifically in 1941-1943, and their influence on the development of the entire conflict. By comparing the US and German economies in the years when the entire war escalated, it seeks to answer the question of which state managed to make better use of its resources and whether the power of the economy was the most important driver of war history. The thesis analyzes whether the development of the domestic economy has influenced the course of the war and how much these quantities correlate with each other. For this comparison, two powers were chosen that stood in conflict on opposite sides, and which opted for a different approach to the war economy. Thus, the main differences in the economy of these two superpowers, the strength and growth of their economies in those years, and the impact that economic power has had on the conflict are compared. |
