| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá tématem benchmarkingu a jeho možnostmi aplikace v muzejním sektoru v České republice. Cílem práce je zjištění efektivnosti výkonu muzeí umění ve vzájemné srovnání, konkrétně se zaměřením na galerie zřizované kraji v České republice a ověření možnosti aplikace některé z metod benchmarkingu v neziskovém prostředí veřejných institucí. Jsou zde představeny modely a způsoby benchmarkingu a jejich využití v praxi v zahraničí i v Česku. Následně je aplikována metoda analýzy datových obalů (DEA), jako vstupní data jsou využity především veřejně dostupné informace z výročních zpráv. Výsledkem práce je srovnání výkonnosti muzeí za období 2015-2017 a posouzení relevantnosti využití metody pro management muzeí. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis deals with the topic of benchmarking and its application possibilities in the museum sector in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to compare the effectiveness of the performance of museums of art, specifically focusing on galleries established by regions in the Czech Republic and to verify the possibility of applying some of the benchmarking methods in the non-profit environment of public institutions. Models and methods of benchmarking and their use in practice abroad and in the Czech Republic are presented. Subsequently, the method of data envelopment analysis (DEA) is applied, mainly publicly available information from annual reports is used as input data. The result of the work is a comparison of the performance of museums for the period 2015-2017 and the assessment of the relevance of the use of the method for museums‘ management. |
