| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je hlubší porozumění fenoménu pozdního odchodu od rodičů v České republice. Pro dosažení tohoto cíle byla provedena analýza vybraných českých digitálních médií, díky níž jsme se dozvěděli základní charakteristiky generace Y podávané české internetové veřejnosti, například pohodlnost, lenost a nedostatek financí na bydlení. K této analýze byly také provedeny doplňkové rozhovory s příslušníky generace Y, ve kterých se porovnávalo, zda obraz podávaný médii odpovídá životu respondentů, a dále jaká je jejich motivace pro bydlení s rodiči. Ukázalo se, že výrazný vliv na setrvání respondentů u rodičů má rodinný stav respondentů, dále úplnost rodiny, vybavenost domácnosti rodičů a v neposlední řadě i finanční situace rodičů i respondentů samotných. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this Bachelor’s Thesis is a deeper understanding of the phenomenon of late parental nest leaving in the Czech Republic. In order to achieve this goal, an analysis of selected Czech digital media has been carried out, thanks to which we have learned the basic characteristics of the generation Y and their perception by the Czech internet public, such as convenience, laziness and lack of housing finance. In addition, supplementary interviews with generation Y respondents were conducted to compare whether the media image corresponds to respondents' lives and what is their motivation for co-residing with parents. It turned out that the family status of the respondents had a significant influence on the respondents' staying at their parents’ home, as well as the completeness of the family, the equipment of their parents' households and, finally, the financial situation of parents and respondents themselves. |
