| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá odhadem vážených průměrných kapitálových nákladů z pohledu regulátora telekomunikačního sektoru. Vážené průměrné náklady na kapitál (WACC) představují stěžejní ukazatel, na základě kterého jsou určovány maximální povolené marže pro subjekty na regulovaném trhu. Hodnota nákladů je stanovena regulátorem, u nás Českým telekomunikačním úřadem, který dohlíží a reguluje telekomunikační firmy a jejich chování na trhu. WACC je proto průběžně jednou za několik let propočítáno a aktualizováno. Cílem této práce je co nejpřesněji odhadnout WACC pro telekomunikační sektor. Bude navrhnuta metodika, jak co nejpřesněji odhadnout tento ukazatel, případně srovnány různé varianty postupu. |

| Abstract: | This work addresses the estimation of weighted average cost of capital in telecommunications industry from the point of view of national regulatory authorities. Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) is considered to be key indicator in setting the margin of operators in regulated market. Cost of capital is set by a regulatory authority, in our case Czech telecommunication office, which oversees and regulates companies in the market. WACC is periodically calculated and updated. Aim of this work is to estimate WACC as precisely as possible for the telecom industry. Proposed methods will be compared and analyzed. |
