| Abstract: | This master thesis deals with the role of logistics startups in the evolution of the supply chain. It aims to map the current situation in the field of logistics startups in Europe and to use qualitative research to reveal the impact of startups on the logistics chain and the development of the entire logistics market. In-depth interviews with nine European startups have shown that the logistics startup market in Europe reflects the latest technological trends in logistics. Furthermore, the importance of previous logistics experiences before establishing a logistics startup and the fact that the problems that logistics startups are experiencing during their growth do not differ from other industries. At the same time, the relatively high dependence of logistics startups on traditional logistics companies and their unwillingness to cooperate primarily with each other is proven, which contradicts the needs of customers who demand increasing supply chain integration. |

| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá rolí logistických startupů v rámci evoluce dodavatelského řetězce. Jejím cílem je zmapovat současnou situaci v oblasti logistických startupů v Evropě a pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu odhalit, jaký vliv budou startupy mít na logistický řetězec a na vývoj celého logistického trhu. Hloubkové rozhovory se zástupci devíti evropský startupů ukázaly, že trh logistických startupů v Evropě reflektuje poslední technologické trendy v oblasti logistiky. Dále se ukázala důležitost předchozích zkušeností v oblasti logistiky před založením logistického startupu a také to, že problémy, kterými logistické startupy prochází během svého růstu se neliší od jiných odvětví. Zároveň je prokázána relativně vysoká závislost logistických startupů na tradičních logistických společnostech a jejich neochota spolupracovat především mezi sebou, což odporuje potřebám zákazníků, kteří si žádají stále širší integraci dodavatelského řetězce. |
