| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá optimalizací skladování knižního nakladatelství. V rámci projektu zlepšování je postupováno dle cyklu DMAIC za využití nástrojů lean managementu. Projekt řeší problém neexistence skladového systému, což spůsobuje neefektivitu skladových operací. Výstupem projektu je navržení nového skladového systému, který se zabývá kategorizací a umístěním zásob. Systém je navržen na míru na základě potřeb podniku a specifik knižního trhu. V rámci optimalizace hlavních procesů skladu byl přidán pomocný proces – proces přeskladnění zásob dle aktuálně provedené ABC analýzy, který se bude periodicky opakovat. Předpokládaná časová úspora hlavních procesů skladu nakladatelství po implementaci tohoto systému je kolem 40 %. |

| Abstract: | The thesis deals with the optimization of book publishing house warehouse. The improvement project follows the DMAIC cycle using lean management tools. The project solves the problem of non-existence of storage system, which causes inefficiency of warehouse operations. The output of the project is to design a new warehouse system that deals with the categorization and placement of stocks. The system is tailored to the needs of the business and the specifics of the book market. As part of the optimization of the main warehouse processes, an auxiliary process was added - the process of stock transfer according to the currently performed ABC analysis, which will be repeated periodically. The estimated time savings of the main processes of the publishing house after implementation of this system are around 40%. |
