| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou uplatnění studentů a absolventů na pracovních pozicích v projektovém řízení vzhledem k očekáváním a požadavkům firem. Za tímto účelem je proveden explorativní výzkum, rozdělený do 3 částí. Rešerše pracovních pozic v projektovém řízení ukazuje, že nejčastěji poptávanou pracovní pozicí v projektovém řízení je projektový manažer. Na toto zjištění navazuje obsahová analýza 132 předmětů veřejných vysokých škol a kombinace kvantitativního a kvalitativního výzkumu názorů 174 pracovníků v projektovém řízení. Předměty v rámci výuky projektového řízení jsou orientovány v 98 % na praktické a kontextové kompetence. Výsledky kombinovaného výzkumu ukazují, že pracovníci v projektovém řízení hodnotí téměř srovnatelně důležitost praktických a osobnostních kompetencí. Testováním hypotézy nebylo možné prokázat, že by byly osobnostní kompetence důležitější, jak často uvádí výzkumné zdroje. Výzkum ukazuje, že respondenti na studentech a absolventech oceňují zejména znalost teoretického základu v projektovém řízení a ochotu se učit. Největší nedostatky vnímají v chybějící praxi a relativně slabších komunikačních dovednostech. Přínosem kvalitativního výzkumu této práce je schéma explorativního výzkumu a modifikovaný kompetenční model projektového manažera podle ICB IPMA, který autorka sestavila pro účel analýzy kompetencí. Dalším přínosem je sada návrhů doporučení ke zlepšení vzájemné spolupráce pro studenty a absolventy, vysoké školy a firmy. Návrhy jsou sestaveny na základě zjištění výzkumu, vysvětleny a ohodnoceny autorkou práce podle jejich přidané hodnoty, časové a finanční náročnosti. |

| Abstract: | The master’s thesis deals with the analysis of employment of students and graduates in project management job positions while considering the expectations and requirements of companies. For this purpose, exploratory research consisting of 3 parts was conducted. A review of job positions in project management shows that the most frequently demanded job position in project management is the position of a project manager. This finding was followed by a content analysis of 132 project management courses of public higher education institutions and combined research of the opinions of 174 employees in the project management field. Of the examined courses in project management, 98% are oriented on practice and perspective competencies. The results of the combined research show that the employees in the project management assess the importance of practice almost equally to people competences. However, by hypothesis testing it was not possible to prove that people competences were more important. Respondents appreciate especially the knowledge of the theoretical background in project management that the students and graduates possess and also their willingness to learn. On the other hand, the lack of practice and relatively substandard communication skills are being described as the biggest shortcomings. The contribution of this thesis is an explorative research scheme and a modified competency model of project manager according to ICB IPMA, which has been compiled by the author for the purpose of competence analysis. The second contribution comes as a set of suggestions to improve cooperation between students and graduates, universities and companies. The suggestions were compiled based on the research findings, explained and evaluated by the author of the master’s thesis according to their added value, time and financial cost. |
