| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku vykazování hráčských smluv v účetních závěrkách fotbalových klubů z anglické Premier League. Cílem práce je v teoretické části popsat a zhodnotit pravidla vykazování hráčských kontraktů podle IFRS a UK GAAP a v navazující praktické části analyzovat vývoj výše hodnoty hráčských smluv, mzdových nákladů a celkových výnosů v sezónách 2011/12 až 2016/17. Závěr práce je věnován vlivu jednotlivých analyzovaných položek na celkovém umístění týmů v lize a jeho kvantifikaci pomocí regresní analýzy. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is focused on the reporting of the player’s registration in the financial statements of the football clubs from English Premier League. The main purpose of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the rules of reporting of the player’s registrations under IFRS and UK GAAP. The main goal of the following practical part is to analyze the evolution of the amount of player’s registrations, of the wage costs and of the total revenues from season 2011/12 to season 2016/17. The conclusion of the thesis is dedicated to the influence of each analyzed items on the overall teams’ position in the league by using regressive analysis. |
