| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku cizí měny v účetnictví, vznik a účtování kursových rozdílů. Problematika je rozebrána z pohledu české účetní legislativy, tak z hlediska mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví. Problémové oblasti jsou ilustrovány pomocí interpretací Národní účetní rady a interpretací SIC/IFRIC. Na vybraných účetních závěrkách je zobrazena transparentnost problematiky v praxi. Závěrem je uveden modelový příklad, zobrazující porovnání použití české a funkční měny u české účetní jednotky. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis focuses on foreign currency issues in accounting. The topic is described from the perspective of the Czech accounting rules as well as from the International Financial Reporting Standards perspective. The problematic areas are illustrated by the Interpretations of National Accounting Committee and interpretations SIC/IFRIC. Financial Statements of several Czech companies were used to illustrate the topic in practice. In conclusion there is a model example which compares the application of CAS and IFRS (i.e. the application of Czech and functional currency) in a case of a Czech accounting unit. |
