| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá statutárními městy, a to zda jsou statuty pouze otázkou prestiže a zda je pro správu statutárních měst efektivnější, pokud se člení na městské části nebo obvody. Především z teoretické části práce je zřetelné, že jedinou „výhodou“ pro statutární město oproti městům nestatutárním je právě to, že se může členit, což nevyužívá mnoho statutárních měst. Dá se tedy říci, že je pro ně především prestiž mít svůj městský „statut“. Na základě následné kapitoly práce, kterou je komparace správy dvou statutárních měst, Chomutova a Ústí nad Labem, lze vyhodnotit, že správa nečleněného města Chomutov, je stejně efektivní, jako správa města Ústí nad Labem, které se člení na čtyři městské obvody. Práce obsahuje také dotazník spokojenosti občanů obou statutárních měst, dle jehož výsledků lze říci, že převážná část občanů obou měst, je s péčí města o ně samé i svůj rozvoj spokojena |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis deals with statutory cities, whether it is only a matter of prestige and whether the managing of statutory cities divided into city districts is more effective than the unitary ones. It is clear from the theoretical part that the only "advantage" for a statutory city is that it can be divided, which not many statutory cities use. So it can be said that it is primarily prestige to have a „city statute“. Following chapter of the thesis, which is comparing of the administration of two statutory cities, shows that administration of the unitary city of Chomutov is as effective as the administration of the city of Ústí nad Labem, which is divided into four city districts. The thesis also contains a questionnaire of satisfaction of citizens of both statutory cities, according to which results it can be said that the majority of citizens of both cities is satisfied with the care of themselves and its development. |
