| Abstract: | Tato práce se věnuje tématu platů politických představitelů v zemích Evropské unie a jejich vztahu ke kvalitě fungování státu. V první části je popsán dosavadní stav poznání v problematice platů politiků a kvalitou jejich rozhodování. V dalších částech je popsán postup zpracování získaných dat ohledně platů a jsou popsány i jednotlivé ukazatele. V poslední části je provedena korelační analýza mezi výší platů politiků a vybranými ukazateli, které hodnotí kvalitu státu z různých úhlů pohledu. Cílem je zjistit, zda zde existují vztahy a následně je i kvantifikovat. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the topic of salaries of political representatives in the countries of the European Union and their relation to the quality of functioning of the state. The first part describes the current state of knowledge in the field of politicians' salaries and the quality of their decisions. In the following sections, there are described the procedures for processing the collected data on salaries and also individual indicators. In the last part, the correlation analysis is made between the salaries of politicians and selected indicators that evaluate the quality of the state from different points of view. The aim is to find out whether there are relations and then quantify them. |
