| Abstract: | The thesis describes a short historical and economical development in Switzerland. It tries to find the reasons of its neutrality and why this state still stands out of the rest of Europe. It also compares the state economical situation on the basis of the macroeconomical indicators with the leaders of the EU: Italy, Germany and France and tries to consider if the entrance in the EU would be for the Swiss profitable. |

| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na stručný historický a ekonomický vývoj Švýcarska,hledá opodstatnění v jeho neutralitě a izolaci od ostatních evropských států. Na základě makroekonomických ukazatelů porovnává jeho vyspělost s předními státy EU a zvažuje zda by pro Švýcarsko byl přínosný vstup do EU. |
