| Abstract: | Obsahem bakalářské práce je téma kryptoměn a legalizace výnosů z trestné činnosti. První část zkoumá celou problematiku v rámci teoretického základu praní špinavých peněz a charakteristických znaků kryptoměn, na jejichž základě uvádí rozdíly vůči elektronickým penězům. Další část se věnuje regulaci kryptoměn z pohledu AML, preventivním opatřením vybraných zemí a zabývá se vyhodnocením přiměřenosti aktuální evropské legislativy. Empirická část práce se zaměřuje na vývoj kryptoměn především z hlediska tržní kapitalizace a ceny, jejíž vývoj je ilustrován na Bitcoinu a prokládán souvisejícími událostmi. Hlavním přínosem práce je komplexní zachycení oblastí kryptoměn a praní špinavých peněz a objasnění vzájemné souvislosti na základě zanalyzování kryptoměnového trhu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with a topic of cryptocurrencies and money laundering. The first part provides an explanation of money laundering and cryptocurrencies on a theoretical basis. Based on description of the cryptocurrency characteristic features, it also presents the differences between them and the electronic money. The next part focuses on a regulation of cryptocurrencies in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering law, preventive measures of different countries and evaluation of the adequacy of the current European legislation. Empirical part presents the development of cryptocurrencies mainly in terms of the market capitalization and the price, which is illustrated on Bitcoin and explained by related events. The aim of the thesis is to comprehensively capture the issues of cryptocurrencies and money laundering and to clarify the connection between them based on the cryptocurrency market analysis. |
