| Abstract: | Ukrajina má jednou z nejslabších ekonomik v Evropě, která je velice citlivá a náchylná jak k externím, tak i interním politickým šokům. Tato diplomová práce popisuje stav ukrajinské ekonomiky a změny měnového kursu hřivny v období 2013-2018, během kterého země přešla ze stavu recese do situace oživení ekonomiky. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit slabé stránky ekonomiky, které způsobily depreciace měnového kursu hřivny, pomoci tradičních a moderních indikátorů měnové krize. Zjistit dopady kolísaní měnového kursu na makro a mikroekonomické úrovní. Proanalyzovat postupy centrální banky Ukrajiny při implementací režimu cílování inflace a změně systému devizového kursu na řízený floating. |

| Abstract: | Ukraine has one of the weakest economies in Europe which is very sensitive and prone to both external as well as internal and mostly political shocks. This master’s thesis describes the state of the Ukrainian economy and changes in hryvnia exchange rate for the period of 2013-2018, which illustrates the country’s movement from the recession to recovery of the economy. The main aim of this work was to find out the weaknesses of the economy, which caused the depreciation in Ukrainian hryvnia exchange rate with a help of traditional and modern indicators of monetary crisis. The next objective is to find out the impacts of exchange rate fluctuations at macro and microeconomic levels. To analyze the practices of the Central Bank of Ukraine in implementing the inflation targeting regime and changing the exchange rate system to managed floating. |
