| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá programem New Deal amerického prezidenta F. D. Roosevelta. První část charakterizuje Velkou hospodářskou krizi, která New Dealu předcházela. Následuje popis osobnosti prezidenta Roosevelta, jeho kariéry, politické kampaně a teoretických východisek pro New Deal. Další část se podrobněji zaměřuje na první a druhý New Deal a jednotlivá opatření, programy, reformy a instituce, které zavedly. Dále se práce zabývá hospodářskou a sociální situací v daném období. V poslední části práce nastiňuje názory a myšlenky významných světových ekonomů. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the F. D. Roosevelt's New Deal program in the United States of America. The first part characterize the Great Depression, which preceded the New Deal. That is followed by the description of Roosevelt's personality, career, political campaign and theories he used for his New Deal. The next part is focused in more detail on the first and the second New Deal, its measures, programs, reforms and institutions. It continues with the description of the economic and social situation in the given period. The last part of this thesis shows opinions and thoughts of significant world's economists. |
