| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této práce je popsat záměr vybudování komunitního centra na sídlišti Máj v Českých Budějovicích a zároveň ho konfrontovat s prvními zkušenostmi s jeho provozováním. Pro naplnění cíle práce bylo definováno pět výzkumných otázek, které byly v závěru práce zodpovězeny. Pro zodpovězení těchto otázek bylo nutné zkombinovat kvantitativní a kvalitativní výzkumné metody v závislosti na výzkumném souboru a povaze sbíraných dat. Byly stanoveny čtyři výzkumné soubory (zřizovatelé, management, klienti, obyvatelé) a různé metody sběru dat (polostrukturovaný rozhovor, strukturovaný rozhovor, dotazník, anketa). Na základě výstupů z výzkumu byla navržena opatření pro zlepšení funkčnosti centra a zároveň navrženy oblasti dalšího zkoumání. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this diploma thesis is to describe the intention of building a community center in the housing estate Máj in České Budějovice and confront it with the first experiences of its operation at the same time. Five research questions were defined to fulfill the goal. These questions were answered at the end of the thesis. For answering of these questions it was necessary to combine quantitative and qualitative research methods depending on the research file and the nature of collected data. Four research files (founders, management, clients, residents) and various methods of data collecting (semi-structured interview, structured interview, questionnaire, poll) were established. Based on the results of the research, there were proposed the measures to improve the functionality of the center and also were proposed the areas for further research. |
