| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem externího auditu bank a poukazuje na vztah mezi auditem a specifickými bankovními riziky. V úvodní části je definován audit jako takový, právní vymezení auditu v ČR a úprava auditu podle mezinárodních standardů. Dále je popsán celý auditní proces zejména pomocí Mezinárodních standardů pro audit (ISA). V teoretické části jsou také vyjmenována nejvýznamnější bankovní rizika a stručně popsány testy, které auditor v souvislosti s těmito riziky provádí. V praktické části práce je poté simulován audit fiktivní banky s názornou ukázkou vybraných testů. |

| Abstract: | Diploma thesis is focused on the external audit of banks theme and points out the relationship between audit and specific bank risks. In the first part is defined audit as such, legal definition of audit in Czech Republic and audit work, according to international standards. Further is described whole process of audit mainly using International Standards on Auditing (ISA). In theoretical part is also listed the most significant banking risks and briefly described tests performed by the auditor in relation to these risks. In practical part of the thesis an audit of fictional bank is simulated with demonstration of selected tests. |
