| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vybrané aspekty problematiky inflačního cílování na přikladu České národní banky a Bank of England. Cílem práce je analýza režimu cílování inflace a rozdílný přistup k otázce plnění inflačních cílů v České republice a Velké Británii. První část práce je zaměřená na teoretický přehled politiky cílování inflace. Nedílnou součásti práce je popis DSGE modelu, který napomáhá k prognózování budoucího inflačního vývoje. V druhé části práce jsou probraná specifika České národní banky a Bank of England: měnově politické nástroje, tvorba předpovědí možného vývoje inflace a příčiny výrazných odchýlení od předem stanoveného cíle. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis is focused on the selected aspects of inflation targeting on the example of Czech National Bank and Bank of England. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the inflation targeting regime and the different approach to the fulfillment of inflation targets in Czech Republic and Great Britain. The first part of thesis is focused on the theoretical overview of inflation targeting policy. An integral part of the thesis is the description of the DSGE model, which helps to forecast the future inflation. The second part of the thesis covers the specifics of Czech National Bank and Bank of England: monetary policy instruments, creation of the inflation forecasts and the causes of significant deviations from predetermined target. |
