| Abstract: | Cílem práce je analýza vztahu svobody a bezpečnosti jako měřitelných veličin. Pomocí statistických metod by tato práce mohla jako jedna z prvních pomoci pochopit vztah svobody a bezpečnosti v kontextu dalších faktorů. Srovnání obou veličin práce vykoná napříč prostorem i časem.Oběma se sice věnuje mnoho článků a téma bezpečnosti je již několik let aktuální, vzhledem k pokračujícím bojům na Blízkém východě a mezinárodnímu terorismu, který v posledních letech postihl evropské metropole, nicméně žádná práce dosud neužila přijatelného objektivního srovnání pomocí ekonometrie.V teoretické části se práce zabývá definováním svobody, bezpečnosti a jejich vztahu. Vztah obou zvláště práce představuje jak v příkladech z běžného života, tak pomocí akademických prací, ale také filosofických textů. Rovněž se věnuje vnímání nebezpečí ve společnosti a s tím spojeným strachem.V praktické části práce představí pomocí panelových dat svobodu, bezpečnost a další proměnné, které zasazuje do ekonometrického modelu. Hypotézou práce je předpoklad, že svoboda a bezpečnost mají většinou pozitivní vztah s lineárním průběhem, který se od určité míry bezpečnosti láme v negativní. Objevení „optimální“ míry svobody je tak druhou částí hypotézy. |

| Abstract: | The aim of the thesis is to analyze the relationship of freedom and security as measurable quantities. Using statistical methods, this work could be one of the first to understand the relationship of freedom and security in the context of other factors. He compares both variables of work across space and time.While many articles deal with both, and security has been up to date for several years, given the ongoing fighting in the Middle East and international terrorism that has hit European cities in recent years, no work has yet taken advantage of an acceptable objective comparison by econometrics.The theoretical part deals with the definition of freedom, security and their relationship. The relationship of both, in particular, represents work in everyday life as well as through academic work but also philosophical texts. It also deals with the perception of danger in society and the associated fear.In the practical part of the work will introduce the panel data freedom, security and other variables, which puts into the econometric model. The hypothesis of the work is the assumption that freedom and security usually have a positive relationship with a linear course that breaks from a certain degree of security into a negative one. The discovery of the “optimal” measure of freedom is thus the second part of the hypothesis. |
