| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je věnována analýze přímých zahraničních investic v České republice a jejich vlivu na vnější rovnováhu z pohledu platební bilance, investiční pozice a zahraniční zadluženosti v letech 2008 – 2017. Zabývá se dopadem přímých zahraničních investic na saldo běžného účtu a finančního účtu a také způsobu jejich krytí. Pozornost je věnována také výnosům přímých zahraničních investic, zejména jejich vývoji a struktuře. Vývoj výnosů z přímých zahraničních investic je rovněž komparován s dalšími zeměmi. Práce se zabývá také vývojem investiční pozice a zahraniční zadluženosti České republiky. Na základě analýzy platební bilance, investiční pozice a zahraniční zadluženosti země je ověřena hypotéza o převažujících pozitivních efektech plynoucích z přímých zahraničních investic nad negativními. |

| Abstract: | This master’s thesis focuses on the analysis of foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic and its influence on the external balance in terms of balance of payments, investment position and external debt in 2008 – 2017. The thesis contains analysis the impact of foreign direct investment on the current account and financial account balances. Attention is also paid to the income of foreign direct investment, especially their structure and development. The structure and development of foreign direct investment is compared with other countries as well. The thesis also deals with the development of the investment position and foreign debt of the country in the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to verify the hypothesis that positive effects from FDI outweigh the negative effects. |
