| Abstract: | Diplomová práce analyzuje ubytovací sektor sdílené ekonomiky, který v posledním desetiletí významně ovlivňuje společnost po sociální, politické i ekonomické stránce. Na příkladu fenoménu Airbnb práce ukazuje, jaké výhody a nevýhody sdílené ubytování společnosti přináší. Primárním cílem práce je zjistit vliv rostoucího významu sdíleného ubytování na poptávku po sektoru tradičního ubytování. Teoretická část práce představuje fenomén sdílené ekonomiky, potažmo Airbnb a jeho rozdílnost v porovnání s tradičním ubytováním. Součástí teoretického rámce práce je rešerše literatury o způsobu přístupu vybraných evropských států k regulaci sdíleného ubytování. Praktická část práce analyzuje vývoj poptávky po Airbnb a hromadných ubytovacích zařízeních ve sledovaném období. Na základě výsledků z kvalitativních rozhovorů se zástupci vybraných pražských hotelů práce zjišťuje významnost podílu sdíleného ubytování na trhu ubytování obecně v letech 2012-2018. Pomocí literární rešerše z teoretické části práce a kritické analýzy je v závěrečné kapitole představena možnost, jak případně regulovat sektor sdíleného ubytování, a zdali je možné se inspirovat v zahraničí. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis analyses shared economy in accommodation sector which has been significantly influencing society from social, political and economic side for last decade. This thesis uses a phenomenon of Airbnb as an example of what kind of advantages and disadvantages can shared accommodation bring to society. The main goal of this thesis is to find out how the importance of shared accommodation is influencing the demand for traditional accommodation. This thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part outlines the phenomenon of shared economy with the example of Airbnb and its dissimilarity compared to traditional accommodation. Furthermore, this part includes a research that outlines how some of the European states are regulating shared accommodation. The practical part analyses the development of a demand for Airbnb and group accommodation facilities in given period. Based on the results of qualitative interviews with representatives from selected hotels in Prague, the thesis explores the significance and size of shared economy in the accommodation sector. The last chapter makes use of literature review from the theoretical part and critical analysis to present a possibility of how the sector of shared accommodation can be regulated and whether it is possible to get inspired abroad. |
