| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na finanční a strategickou analýzu společnosti Alpiq Generation (CZ) s.r.o. Jejím hlavním cílem je vyhodnotit finanční zdraví společnosti provedením finanční analýzy z pohledu externího uživatele a posoudit perspektivnost podniku pomocí poznatků ze strategické analýzy. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na metodickou a praktickou část a zahrnuje pětiletou časovou řadu. V první kapitole jsou popsány použité metody a ukazatele. Dále následuje praktická část, která je rozdělena do dvou kapitol a obsahuje komplexní finanční analýzu, posouzení bonity podniku, mezipodnikové srovnání a strategickou analýzu. V závěru jsou shrnuty veškeré provedené analýzy. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is focused on financial and strategic analysis of Alpiq Generation (CZ) s.r.o. Its main objective is to evaluate the financial health of the analysed company by conducting financial analysis from the perspective of external user and to assess the outlook of the company’s expansion using the outcome of strategic analysis. The thesis is divided into a methodological and a practical part and includes a five-year time series. The first chapter deals with the description of methods and indicators that have been used. The practical part, which is divided into two chapters, contains complex financial analysis, assessment of the company’s creditworthiness, comparison with the main competitors and strategic analysis. The conclusion contains a summary of all the analyses performed. |
