Abstract: | This dissertation attempts to investigate the real impact of comprehensive European integration on the trade flows between EU member states and the USA. To do so, the concept of gravity model of trade was applied, due to its universality and high level of utility. The impact of several economic, political, social, historical and geographical factors on the trade relations between countries was investigated. A Panel data was used in the research to test the effects. The investigation was based on a data, which provides the information about trade flows, geopolitical and historical relations between the EU members, the USA, Japan and Brazil for the last seventy years from 1948 till 2017. A data used in the research was taken from the World Integrated Trade Solutions (World Bank), CEPII, Transparency International. Results of the research proved the positive effect of European integration on the trade relations of EU member states not only with other countries of the European Union, but also with non-EU member states. Therefore, the deep and comprehensive integration to the EU has a trade creation effect. |

Abstract: | Tato disertační práce se pokouší prozkoumat skutečný dopad komplexního Evropana integrace obchodních toků mezi členskými státy EU a USA. K tomu, concept gravitačního modelu obchodu byl použit kvůli jeho univerzálnosti a vysoké úrovni užitečnosti dopad několika ekonomických, politických, sociálních, historických a geografických faktorů na obchod vztahy mezi zeměmi byly prošetřeny. Data z panelu byla použita ve výzkumu k testování efekty. Šetření bylo založeno na údajích, které poskytují informace o obchodu toky, geopolitické a historické vztahy mezi členskými státy EU, USA, Japonskem a Brazílie za posledních sedmdesát let od roku 1948 do roku 2017. Byly získány údaje použité ve výzkumu od Světových integrovaných obchodních řešení (Světová banka), CEPII, Transparency International. Výsledky výzkumu prokázaly pozitivní vliv evropské integrace na obchod vztahy členských států EU nejen s ostatními zeměmi Evropské unie, ale také s nečlenskými státy EU. Proto je hluboká a komplexní integrace do EU má účinek vytváření obchodu. |
