| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá makroekonomickou analýzou inflace zemí Visegrádské skupiny v období od roku 2000 do roku 2018. Cílem práce tvorba předpovědí vývoje inflace pro jednotlivé státy, pomocí analýzy funkce odezvy zjistit, jaký vliv na inflaci mají zvolené proměnné, a také porovnání vývoje dynamiky inflace mezi jednotlivými státy. Analýza je provedena pomocí modelů vektorových autoregresí a vektorových modelů korekce chyby. Pro všechny státy shodně vyšlo, že inflace je nejlépe predikována pomocí HDP a dlouhodobé nezaměstnanosti. Naopak největší rozdíl mezi jednotlivými zeměmi byl v reakci na jednotkový šok z HDP. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the macroeconomic analysis of inflation of the Visegrad Group countries in the period from 2000 to 2018. The aim of the thesis is to create inflation forecasts for individual countries, to analyze the influence of selected variables on the inflation using impulse response function and to compare inflation dynamics between individual states. Analysis is performed using vector autoregression models and vector error correction models. It came out equally for all states, that inflation is best predicted by GDP and long-term unemployment. On the contrary, the biggest difference between countries was in response to a unitary shock from GDP. |
