| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je stanovit vhodnou variantu splňující předem stanovená kritéria, v rámci osobní přepravy z pohledu cestujícího v relaci Česká republika – Velká Británie/Skotsko, pomocí analýzy a popisu dopravního systému a jednotlivých druhů dopravy. Teoretická část práce se zabývá osobní dopravou z hlediska čtyř druhů dopravy – železniční, silniční, vodní a letecké, a to v kontextu historického vývoje a současného stavu dopravy. Praktická část práce je věnována geografické charakteristice Skotska, historii dopravy na území Velké Británie a Skotska a taktéž detailní analýze jednotlivých druhů dopravy. V neposlední řadě se práce věnuje analýze osobní dopravy v relaci Česká republika – Velká Británie/Skotsko. Výsledkem této analýzy je výběr nejvhodnější varianty způsobu osobní dopravy. Přínosem práce je poté zorientování se v tamější dopravě pro cestující do vybraných oblastí Skotska. |

| Abstract: | The goal of this master’s thesis is to analyze the condition of the transport system of Scotland, description of individual modes of transport and to analyze passengers possibilities of transport from the Czech Republic to the United Kingdom / Scotland, to aim to find out what are the advantages and disadvantages. The theoretical part consists of a description of individual modes of transport such as rail, road, ship and air in the context of their historical development and contemporary form. The practical part consists of geographic characteristics, the history of transport in the United Kingdom and Scotland, as well as detailed analysis of the modes of transport. The thesis deals with the analysis of passenger transport from the Czech Republic to the United Kingdom / Scotland. The results of the analysis show the selection of the most suitable variant of the individual modes of transport. The benefit of the thesis is the orientation in the local transport options for passengers travels to selected areas in Scotland. |
