| Abstract: | Tématem této diplomové práce je zkoumání povědomí spotřebitelů o Internetu věcí. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat povědomí spotřebitelů o Internetu věcí a jeho možnostech a zmapovat současný stav Internetu věcí.První část této práce je věnována teoretickému představení pojmu Internet věcí, který je hlavním tématem této práce. Nejprve je popsána nejdůležitější historie této oblasti, poté je definováno, co vlastně Internet věcí představuje a co od něj lze očekávat. Dále jsou představeny aktuální možnosti jeho využití a představení vybraných existujících technologií, využitelným při implementaci Internetu věcí. Následující část je věnována současnému pokrytí vybraných světových lokalit sítěmi Internetu věcí a také případným budoucím plánům, v oblasti další implementace nových sítí. Ve druhé části práce jsou, na základě předchozích teoretičtějších částí práce, formulovány hypotézy a formulovány výzkumné otázky pro sestavení dotazníku. Na základě sestaveného dotazníku bylo poté mezi spotřebiteli provedeno šetření pomocí elektronického dotazníkového šetření. Prostřednictvím šetření došlo ke zjištění aktuálního povědomí spotřebitelů o Internetu věcí, jeho technologiích, reálných zkušenostech spotřebitelů a jejich plánech do budoucna. |

| Abstract: | The topic of this Master's thesis is to examine a consumer awareness of the Internet of Things. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the consumer awareness of Internet of Things and its possibilities, and to evaluate the current situation of the Internet of Things.The first part of this thesis is devoted to the theoretical introduction of the term Internet of Things, which is the main subject of this work. At first the most important history of this area is described, then it is defined what the Internet of Things represents and what can be expected from that. It also introduces the current possibilities of its usage and selected existing technologies, usable in the implementation of the Internet of Things. The following part is devoted to the actual coverage of selected world locations by the Internet of Things networks and potential future plans for further implementation of new networks.In the second part of the thesis, the hypotheses and research questions are formulated based on the previous theoretical part to compose a questionnaire. On the basis of the composed questionnaire, a consumer research had been investigated using the questionnaire technique. The survey identified the current consumer awareness of the Internet of Things, its technologies, and consumer's real experience and plans for the future. |
