| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá oblastí Blízkého východu, zejména jeho základními charakteristikami, které jsou nezbytné pro pochopení celého regionu, dále pak vzájemným vztahem mezi Čínou a Blízkým východem a následně rolí Číny v konfliktech v Sýrii a v Libyi. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit čínské aktivity v těchto válkách a zjistit, zda má Čína na vyřešení sporů v Sýrii a v Libyi pozitivní vliv, nebo zde sleduje pouze vlastní zájmy. Práce jasně vysvětluje postupný růst čínské moci na Blízkém východě a s tím související větší angažovanost ve válkách, dále Čínou použité nástroje za účelem vyřešení válek a jejich dopady. Výsledky této práce umožňují dokázat, že angažovanost Číny v Sýrii a Libyi nevedla k výraznému zlepšení situace. V nalezení odpovědi na tuto otázku bylo použito výzkumné metody. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is focused on the Middle East region, especially its basic characteristics, which are necessary for understanding the whole region, then the relationship between China and the Middle East and subsequently the role of China in the Libyan and Syrian war. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate Chinese activities in these conflicts and to find out whether China has a positive influence on disputes in Syria and Libya, or it only pursues its own interests there. The thesis clearly explains the gradual growth of Chinese power in the Middle East and its associated greater involvement, as well as the Chinese methods that were used to resolve the wars and their implications. The results of this study make it possible to prove that China's involvement in Syria and Libya has not led to a significant improvement of local situation. The research method was used to find the answer to this question. |
