| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce zkoumá úspěšnost řízení vybraných fotbalových klubů, kterými jsou Fotbalový klub Jablonec, a.s. a SK Slavia Praha – fotbal, a.s. Hlavním cílem práce je tedy navrhnout vylepšení v oblasti managementu, která by mohla vést k přiblížení se regionálního celku FK Jablonec špičkovému českému týmu, SK Slavia Praha. K jeho dosažení je zapotřebí splnění dílčích cílů – určení stěžejních kritérií pro úspěšné řízení fotbalových klubů, porovnání fungování vybraných klubů a zpracování SWOT analýz zkoumajících procesy nastavené v klubu FK Jablonec ve stanovených oblastech. Jako metoda výzkumu byla v práci použita metoda case study, při jejímž vypracování byla analyzována data získaná z polo-strukturovaných rozhovorů se zástupci managementu obou klubů za pomoci zmíněné SWOT analýzy a následně byla jabloneckému klubu navržena vylepšení, která by mohla zvýšit úspěšnost jeho řízení. Jako klíčové oblasti, rozhodující o úspěšnosti řízení fotbalového klubu byly stanoveny oblasti plánování, organizování, kontrolování, vedení lidí, infrastruktury, ekonomiky klubu a sportovní výkonnosti. Výzkum odhalil nedostatky jabloneckého klubu ve všech zmíněných oblastech, což poskytlo prostor pro navržení vylepšení. Z těch můžeme zmínit například větší zapojení zaměstnanců do procesu plánování, zavedení procesu kontroly a hodnocení zaměstnanců nebo upření větší pozornosti na výchovu mladých hráčů. |

| Abstract: | The subject of this Master’s Thesis is an analysis of the successfulness in managing chosen football clubs, specifically Fotbalový klub Jablonec, a.s. and SK Slavia Praha – fotbal a.s. The primary goal of this thesis is to put forward some management improvements, which could help FK Jablonec to get at the same level as SK Slavia Praha is. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to fulfill some partial goals – to define the key factors influencing the successfulness of managing football clubs, to compare the management processes in both clubs and to make SWOT analysis for the determined areas of management. As a research method we used the case study. While working on the case study, we also used the semi-structured interviews to gain some knowledge about the way the clubs are led. As the key areas in leading the football clubs we defined areas of planning, organizing, controlling, people leading, infrastructure, club economy and sports performance. It was found out that FK Jablonec has some failings in those areas and based on that fact, some potential improvements were suggested. We can mention higher involvement of employees in the process of planning, implementing the areas of controlling and evaluating, or focusing on raising the young players. |
