| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá problematikou společné hospodářské politiky v rámci Evropské Unie. Cílem této práce je skrze zhodnocení celkového vývoje rozhodnout, je-li směřování ke společné hospodářské politice vhodným řešením současných a budoucích problémů.Práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní kapitoly. V první části je definována samotná hospodářská politika a jak do ní zasahuje Evropská Unie. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na historický vývoj Evropské měnové a hospodářské unie, představuje relevantní Evropská společenství a iniciativy a jejich dopad. Třetí kapitola se věnuje současné situaci, tedy aktuálnímu systému koordinace hospodářských politik a jeho možnou budoucností. Jsou zde popsány dnes existující nástroje, pomocí kterých se EU může přiblížit skutečné hospodářské unii a je zhodnocena jejich efektivita. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on the topic of implementing a common economic policy within the European Union. The aim of this work is to assess, by evaluating the overall development, whether the direction towards a common economic policy would present an appropriate solution to present and future problems.The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter defines economic policy itself and how it is affected by the European Union. The second chapter focuses on the historical development of the European monetary and economic union. It introduces relevant European communities and initiatives and their lasting impact. The third chapter deals with the current situation, ie the current system of economic policy coordination and its possible future. In this chapter there are described and evaluated the existing tools through which the EU may approach a real economic union. |
