Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na překážky v informačních a komunikačních technologiích v EU a USA a jejich dopad na vzájemný obchod. V rámci práce jsou okomentovány trendy současného digitálního obchodu z pohledu e-commerce i digitálních a digitálně zprostředkovaných služeb a jsou popsány největší současné výzvy světové digitální ekonomiky. Dále pak práce analyzuje opatření Evropské unie a Spojených států amerických na digitálním trhu a jejich přístup k regulaci digitálního trhu obecně. Nakonec se práce zaměřuje na vliv konkrétních opatření a možnosti harmonizace těchto odlišných regulačních opatření v rámci transatlantického digitálního trhu.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis focuses on barriers in information and communication technologies in the EU and US and their impacts on mutual trade. The thesis comments on the trends of contemporary digital trade from the perspective of e-commerce as well as digital and digitally-enabled services and describes the biggest current challenges of the world digital economy. Next, the work analyzes the measures of the European Union and the United States of America in the digital market and their approach to the regulation of the digital market in general. Finally, it focuses on impact of concrete measures and the possibility of harmonizing these different regulatory measures within the transatlantic digital market.
