| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je zacílena na míru korupce a ekonomickou výkonnost v zemích Evropské unie. V teoretické části je charakterizován pojem korupce, její formy, důsledky a příčiny vzniku korupce, měření korupce a boj proti ní. Praktickou část tvoří regresní a korelační analýza, která ukazuje závislost mezi vnímáním korupce a makroekonomickými ukazateli v zemích Evropské unie. Sledované ukazatele jsou CPI, HDP v PPP, HDI, FDI a míra nezaměstnanosti. Cílem práce je prokázat, zda existuje vztah mezi danými ukazateli a následně zjistit, jak silná závislost mezi nimi je. |

| Abstract: | This Bachelor´s thesis is focused on a level of corruption and economic perfomance in countries of EU. The theoretical part describes the concept of corruption, its varieties, consequences and causes of the corruption, measuring corruption and fighting against it. The basis of the practical part is a regression and correlation analysis, which shows the dependence between the perception of corruption and macroeconomic indicators in European Union countries. These observed indicators are CPI, GDP in PPP, HDI, FDI and unemployment rate. The aim of the thesis is to find out if there is a relation among these indicators and then how strong is a dependency among them. |
