| Abstract: | V této bakalářské práci se autor zabývá manipulací na sociálních sítích a proti ní aplikovatelnou obranou. Cílem této práce je tedy analyzovat problematiku jak cílené, tak necílené manipulace na sociálních sítích, a to ze stran ostatních uživatelů, médií, ale i samotných sociálních sítí. Na základě této analýzy jsou poté navrhnuty konkrétní obranné kroky pro běžného uživatele, které by mu měly pomoci snížit míru případné manipulace na sociálních sítích. První část práce seznamuje čtenáře se základními pojmy zahrnující manipulaci, sociální sítě, vliv, sociální prostředí, digitální identitu či mediální gramotnost. Dále také charakterizuje způsoby, procesy a techniky manipulace na sociálních sítí. Na základě poznatků z těchto částí bylo navrženo celkem 6 jednotlivých obranných kroků ke snížení míry manipulace na sociálních sítích. Praktická část obsahuje dotazníkové šetření, jehož se zúčastnilo 192 respondentů. Data byla následně zpracována pro uskutečnění vybrané metody testování statistických hypotéz, pomocí nichž autor ověřoval účinnost obranných kroků v závislosti na jejich uplatňování. Požadovaným výstupem testování bylo potvrzení alternativních hypotéz, což znamená, že uplatňování daných obranných kroků snižuje míru manipulace, zatímco nulová hypotéza vyjadřovala nulový vliv na míru manipulace. Výsledky potvrdily jednu alternativní hypotézu, tedy účinnost pouze jednoho obranného kroku. I přes respektování výsledků testování však autor považuje za alespoň z části účinný každý z navržených obranných kroků, neboť jistě pomáhají ke snížení míry manipulace na sociálních sítích. |

| Abstract: | In this bachelor thesis the author deals with the manipulation on social networks and the applicable defense against it. The aim of this work is to analyze the issue of both targeted and untargeted manipulation on social networks from the side of other users, media, but also social networks themselves. Based on this analysis, there are proposed specific defensive steps for the common user, which should help to reduce the level of possible manipulation on social networks. The first part of the work acquaints the reader with the basic concepts including manipulation, social networks, influence, social environment, digital identity or media literacy. It also describes ways, processes and techniques of manipulation on social networks. Based on the knowledge from these parts, there were proposed a total of 6 individual defensive steps to reduce the level of manipulation on social networks. The practical part contains a questionnaire survey, which was attended by 192 respondents. The data were subsequently processed to implement the selected method of testing statistical hypotheses. Through them, the author verified the effectiveness of defensive steps depending on their application. The required outcome of the testing was the confirmation of alternative hypotheses, which means that the application of given defensive steps reduces the level of manipulation, while the null hypothesis expressed no effect on the level of manipulation. The results confirmed one alternative hypothesis, i.e. the effectiveness of only one defensive step. Despite respecting the test results, the author considers at least partially effective each of the proposed defensive steps, as they certainly help to reduce the level of manipulation on social networks. |
