Abstract: | Tato práce má za cíl porovnat rozdílné preference benefitů mezi jednotlivými ekonomicky aktivními generacemi (Babyboomers, generace X, generace Y a generace Z). |

Abstract: | This thesis aims to compare different preferences of employee benefits between economically active generations (Babyboomers, generation X, generation Y and generation Z). For this purpose, a quantitative research was carried out, for which a questionnaire was compiled that focused on questions about employee benefits and the respondents were filtered into specific generations. The resulting data from individual questions were compared among generations to evaluate their differences. In the analysis of responses, the results were also compared with other identification questions (e.g. gender, employment status, education level). Research, in which participated 286 respondents from four selected generations, showed that the X, Y and Generation Z chose as the most important benefit vacation longer than the statutory four weeks. However, this is not the case for the Babyboomers generation, which considers the pension, or life insurance and catering allowances to be the most important. For generation Y and Z, flexibility benefits are more important, specifically: flexible working hours, home office work or sick days. According to the all results, four research questions were analyzed and recommendations were made to employers, which will make it easier for them to pick a suitable set of provided benefits based on the age distribution of their employees by generations. |
