| Abstract: | Úvodní část práce se věnuje teoretickému vymezení diskriminační problematiky a vymezení pojmu GPG, pomocí kterého se rozdílnost mezd měří. V úvodu práce jsou uvedeny různé ekonomické pohledy na problematiku diskriminace, které se během historického vývoje pokoušely vysvětlovat příčiny diskriminace. V praktické části analyzuji současné platové podmínky, postavení mužů a žen na trhu práce a rozdílnost jejich mezd. Po provedení analýzy kvantifikuji příčiny, které mají vliv na rozdíl mezd a pomocí nich vysvětluji statisticky udávanou výši GPG 16 %. Na základě výsledků zcela nelze vyloučit přítomnost diskriminace, ale lze konstatovat, že potenciální diskriminace má na výši mzdy minimální vliv. |

| Abstract: | The introductory part of the thesis is cover to the theoretical definition of discriminatory issues and to the definition of the term GPG, by means of which wage difference is measured. The introduction of the thesis presents various economic perspectives on the issue of discrimination, which during historical developments tried to explain the causes of discrimination. In the practical part I analyse the current salary conditions, the position of men and women on the labour market and the difference in their wages. After the analysis, I quantify the causes that have an impact on the wage difference and explain the statistically reported GPG level of 16%. On the basis of the results it is not possible to rule out the presence of discrimination, but it can be stated that the potential discrimination has minimal influence on the wage level. |
