Abstract: | The aim of this Master's Thesis is to analyse the perceived effects of biohacking and mindfulness practices among executives. The thesis consists of two main parts which are a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is divided into three sections with the main focus on the definitions of biohacking and mindfulness and the establishment of a link with managerial performance. The empirical part is based on the thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews with executives, assessing their experiences with biohacking and mindfulness techniques. The Master's thesis offers an evaluation of various practices and perceptions of their benefits from the executives' perspective. The conclusion provides a list of recommendations for maximising performance based on the research from the theoretical part combined with the findings from the empirical part. |
