| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá otázkou přijetí eura a jejím cílem je na základě zkoumaných dat určit národohospodářské doporučení pro Českou republiku. Práce analyzuje výhody a nevýhody plynoucí z přijetí společné měny pomocí základních makroekonomických ukazatelů, jako je HDP na obyvatele, nezaměstnanost, inflace, úrokové míry a zadlužení států. Práce proti sobě staví země, které euro již v minulosti přijaly, konkrétně Slovensko, Rakousko a Belgii proti zemím, které se k přijetí eura zavázaly, ale ještě ho nepřijali, konkrétně Česko, Dánsko, Švédsko. V práci je použita metoda analýzy a komparace, práce je též doplněna o SWOT analýzu, která shrnuje výhody a nevýhody přijetí eura. V samotném závěru práce prezentuje doporučení pro Českou republiku, která by si v současné době na základě výsledků komparace měla ponechat spíše vlastní měnu než vstupovat do eurozóny. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of adoption of euro and its aim is to determine the economic recommendations for the Czech Republic based on the surveyed data. The thesis analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of adopting the common currency using basic macroeconomic indicators such as GDP per capita, unemployment, inflation, interest rates and national debt. The thesis compares countries that have already adopted the euro, namely Slovakia, Austria and Belgium with countries that have committed but not yet adopted the Euro, namely the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Sweden. The method of analysis and comparison is used in the thesis, and it is also supplemented with a SWOT analysis that summarizes both the advantages and disadvantages of euro adoption. In conclusion it presents recommendations for the Czech Republic, determining why it should currently retain its own currency rather than join the euro area based on the results of the comparison. |
